Founded by Rosa Cantante a dedicated and passionate Day Mother with a deep love for nurturing and caring for babies. With more than 13 years of experience, her heart has been drawn to the magical world of infants, where every coo, giggle, and milestone is a cause for celebration.

Rosa’s journey into childcare began when she realized that she could transform her passion into a meaningful vocation. Over the years, she had the privilege of providing a safe and loving environment for numerous infants to thrive and grow. So much so that she was able to share more than 11 years of passion and nurturing towards Children with disabilities. Each tiny face and unique personality have enriched her life in immeasurable ways.

Her approach to day mothering is rooted in warmth, patience, and attentiveness. She understands that every baby is an individual with their own needs, preferences, and pace of development. Her mission is to create a nurturing haven where they feel cherished, secure, and encouraged to explore their world.

Tailored Care for Every Stage

Infants (0 – 12 months):
In these earliest months, our focus is on gentle care, sensory play, and secure bonding. With lots of cuddles, age-appropriate stimulation, and close attention, babies thrive in a calm, loving atmosphere that feels just like home.

Toddlers (1 – 3 years):
This is the age of exploration! Toddlers are on the move and eager to interact with the world around them. We support their growth with playful learning, guided discovery, and the space to develop independence—one confident step at a time.

Curriculum

The Curriculum Framework (Infant program) integrates multi-disciplinary elements to create a holistic approach to learning providing children with a plethora of enriching experiences. Our environments are intentionally designed with traditional learning areas such as blocks and building, dramatic play, sensorial, and creativity with new added focus on science & nature, math & manipulatives, and language & literacy. Additionally, our environments are created using natural materials, including wood, stone, and recycled plastic to provide children with more sensory-rich experiences while continuing to be an environmentally friendly and sustainable company.

Warm learning areas are created to encourage small group interaction, and more focused, engaged exploration. Learning areas are supported with authentic, real-life items to ignite curiosity and motivation for children to explore.

Kid ‘N Me’s Infant program focuses on meeting each child’s individual needs in a caring and trusting learning environment. Our Day Care Mother understands that each child and family is unique, which is why we take the time to get to know your infant before they even start in our Facility. We do not attempt to adapt the child to a preset routine or schedule. Each child is on their own eating, napping, and active schedule within our infant classrooms.

What are your hours of operation?

At Kid ‘N Me, we are open every day of the week (excluding public holidays) between 7:00 and 17:00.

Are you open year-round?

Yes, we are open the whole year through excluding weekends, public holidays, and statutory school holidays.

Do you allow and accommodate for half-day care?

Kid N Me realizes that schedules can vary by household and the need for full time childcare doesn’t exist in all circumstances. We do offer half-day care for our families between 7:00 and 12:00 every day of the week.

Are meals provided in your day care and is the food nutritious?

Nutrition is one of the cornerstone values of what Kid N Me offers our children and their families. We offer a full meal plan including breakfast and a hot lunch. Our menu has been certified by a Registered Dietician and boasts meals made in-house, from scratch and prepared daily.

From what age group does your day care cater for?

At Kid ‘N Me we cater for all the working mommies & daddies out there, we take in kids from 0 – 36 months.
